Alex is a Sales Director at Unusual Ventures. As part of the Founder Services team, Alex is responsible for partnering with founders to help drive their go-to-market strategy by building a repeatable and predictable sales process. Prior to Unusual, Alex worked for six years at Sumo Logic, starting as an SDR and worked his way up to Enterprise Account Executive, helping drive revenue and new logo growth. After seeing Sumo Logic through their IPO, Alex spent two years at an early stage startup, Edge Delta, where he was responsible for their largest revenue customers and bringing in lighthouse accounts.
Why Unusual?
After my experiences at Sumo Logic and Edge Delta, I've grown a fondness for helping early startups identify their sales-processes, cultures, and build a team first environment. One of the things that I love about startups is the 'we're all in this together' mentality and the need to move fast and collaborate with all different parts of the organization to drive toward one goal. When the opportunity presented itself to join Unusual and work with a variety of startups and founders to help make them successful, it was a no-brainer.
