Allison is a Vice President at Unusual, focused on investments in security and infrastructure software. She is passionate about products that reduce the security burden placed on teams and individuals, and eliminate the tradeoff between building quickly and building securely. Prior to Unusual, Allison was a Group Product Manager at CrowdStrike, where she was responsible for the company’s extended detection and response product and integrations. Before that, she held product and marketing roles at TripAdvisor, Barkly (acquired by Alert Logic) and Localytics (acquired by Upland Software).
Allison holds an AB in English from Harvard University where she was an editor of the Harvard Lampoon. Outside of work, Allison enjoys exploring new roads on her gravel bike, running, and hiking.
Why Unusual?
Unusual brings a level of focus to supporting early-stage founders that I have not seen from any other firm. That focus is reflected in the organization of the firm and its team of experienced operators, domain experts, and functional experts. I’m excited to be part of the team that is helping the next generation of security companies grow and succeed.
