David Hershey

David is a Vice President at Unusual Ventures, focused on investments in Data and Machine Learning infrastructure. David is passionate about products that enable data teams to multiply the impact that they can have on their business, and helping the teams that build those products go to market more effectively.

Prior to joining Unusual, David was a Senior Solutions Architect at Tecton, where he consulted with hundreds of organizations trying to solve challenge, high-scale machine learning infrastructure problems. Before that, he was a Solutions Architect at Determined AI, and a Machine Learning Engineer at Ford Motor Company. David holds a MS in Computer Science from Stanford, where he focused on Machine Learning. Outside of work, David enjoys backpacking, board games, and supporting his hometown Michigan Wolverines.
