Kristy Landers
Chief Financial Officer
Kristina (Kristy) Landers is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Unusual Ventures. Prior to joining Unusual, she was the VP of Finance at August Capital for 6 years, as well as Tax Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP for the 7 years preceding. At August, Kristy spearheaded many initiatives to modernize their accounting functions including implementing a fully integrated/reconciled accounting system and new Limited Partner portal allowing for the seamless, timely, and secure release of data to Limited Partners. Her background in partnership taxation has allowed Kristy a relatively unique perspective in managing finance functions and given her the opportunity to get to know the Venture Capital business from many angles. Kristy graduated with a BA in Business Management, Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz and with an MS in Accountancy from the San Jose State University.
