Rachel (Rae) Dinh is the Director of Content & Community at Unusual Ventures focused on creating meaningful connections for Unusual’s founders and helping to share their stories. She is passionate about creating spaces for peer learning and writing about the craft of entrepreneurship. She leads content development for the Field Guide and programs at Unusual including the Academy, Product Leaders Network, and Insights Series.
Prior to joining Unusual, Rae worked as a Program Lead at the Partnership on AI, where she convened stakeholders across industry, academia, and civil society to generate best practices for AI development and the World Economic Forum building an e-learning platform to re-skill displaced workers. Her research has been published in MIT Tech Review and the Journal of Human Behavior. Originally from Los Angeles, she holds an Msc in the Social Science of the Internet from St. Hugh’s College, University of Oxford and a BA in Literary Criticism from the University of Pennsylvania.
It’s rare to come across a team as accomplished and humble as the one at Unusual. That, combined with the chance to build a mission-driven VC firm from the ground up made it a done deal.
