Dan leads Founder Services at Unusual, where he helps early-stage teams turn breakthrough ideas into clear messaging. With more than two decades in product marketing across AI, analytics, and enterprise software, Dan knows what it takes to stand out in a noisy market. Most recently, he helped Dataiku, H2O.ai, and DataRobot bring their cutting-edge platforms to market – building on years of positioning complex products at Baynote, Interwoven, and Siebel Systems. Before pivoting to tech, Dan served in the Peace Corps, teaching math and physics in Tanzania. He holds degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder and Carnegie Mellon University, and lives in Redwood City with his family.
